Boulder City Fire Department Firefighter Cadet Program was developed to provide the department with a qualified personnel pool able to supplement daily staffing deficiencies, as well as for individuals interested in a fire service career. The 16-week (each Saturday) program is designed to instill a sense of character, confidence, and self-discipline in each Cadet while working to achieve Nevada State Firefighter I and Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations certifications.
